We, together have to take care of Mother Earth. Period. If we are a part of the problem, we ourselves are the part of the solution. And the solution, or shall we say solutions will not be as straight forward as anyone wishes. These are exciting times for alternative energy developments for all modes of transportation and all aspects of performance.

We have to make intelligent choices at every cross roads. It may be deciding to recycle your garbage mail or the choice between choosing hemp/jute material for your seat, instead of foam. When we attempt to design transportaion for the future, we have to minimize the total carbon-footprint of not only the product but of all the sub-systems it belongs to. How it engages in parking, how maintenance is scheduled, howit is cleaned and what by-products are left in its wake, are all elements of design.
